Lake Zurich Mobile Testing Site

A mobile Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) testing site will be stationed at Lake Zurich High School on Sunday, July 12. The testing site is in response to multiple cases of COVID-19 identified among participants attending the first day of sports camp at the high school and at recent social gatherings. The testing site will be run and managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).

The mobile testing site, located at Lake Zurich High School’s Performing Arts Center parking lot (300 Church St., Lake Zurich), will be open Sunday, July 12 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The mobile testing site will return on Sunday, July 19 to provide additional testing. The IDPH administers the tests, and results are provided by phone in 4 to 7 days.

If your child or any other family members experience symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider or call the Lake County Health Department’s Communicable Disease Program at (847) 377-8130 for guidance on quarantine and testing.

Know Before You Go:

Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. You do not need to be a student, faculty, staff, or family member to get tested. A phone number and name are required in order to receive testing results. Photo identification and proof of insurance are helpful, but not required.

Those utilizing drive-thru testing must be seated at a functioning window. Once you get in line at the site, you will not be permitted to exit your car. The site will also accommodate walk-up individuals.

Other Testing Options:

State-run Community-Based Testing Sites, located in Waukegan (102 W. Water St.) and Rolling Meadows (2901 Central Rd.), are open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Testing at these sites is free. Many healthcare providers in Lake County also have COVID-19 testing available. Please contact your provider or the facility to ask about testing criteria and appointment availability.
