State Rep. Mary Edly-Allen joined other local officials celebrating Libertyville Manor’s 70th anniversary of service to the community on April 18.

The public celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours, intergenerational activities, and refreshments. Libertyville Manor offers assisted living, skilled care, and physical therapy.

Libertyville Manor was opened by the Stokovich family in 1949 at another location. An expanded facility was built in 1977 at the current site, 610 Peterson Road, Libertyville.
