LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Continuing the success of last month’s mobile office hours, state Rep. Mary Edly-Allen, D-Libertyville, is announcing her schedule for July mobile office hours throughout the 51st District.
“My staff and I are continually striving to make our office accessible to every part of the district. With the success of our June mobile office hours, my office is going to continue hosting regular mobile office hours,” said Edly-Allen. “The most important part of my job is hearing what constituents have to say and representing them as best as I can in Springfield. These mobile office hours give constituents and my office the perfect opportunity to have a conversation.”
Besides providing assistance with state-related matters at the Libertyville office, these mobile office hours act as an official pop-up office where any state issues can be addressed. No appointment is necessary, and all are helped on a first-come, first-served basis. The July hours are as follows:
- Thursday, July 11 from 2 pm to 4:30 p.m.: Fremont Public Library, located at 1170 N. Midlothian Road in Mundelein
- Tuesday, July 16 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Cook Memorial Public Library, located at 413 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville
- Thursday, July 18 from 2 pm to 4:30 p.m.: Barrington Area Library, located at 505 N. Northwest Highway in Barrington
- Tuesday, July 23 from 2 pm to 4:30 p.m.: Ela Area Public Library, located at 275 Mohawk Trail in Lake Zurich
“Whether you are coming in to talk about a state-related issue or just to introduce yourselves, I encourage everyone to stop by,” Edly-Allen added. “Representing a district that expands over two counties and 17 towns makes accommodating everyone difficult, but I hope with these office hours we are able to open our office to more constituents than before.”
